How's it going everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our Pewag All Square Snow Tire Chains, on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. First thing we're gonna point out is these links themselves, they are square links and the links are pretty large. So, square links are gonna do a great job at biting in to any ice and snow that you might have. These chains are pretty aggressive in their style and build, so they're gonna be pretty effective in most inclement weather conditions. The chains are in a ladder style pattern, which means that the chains run perpendicular across the tires. more

How's it going everybody It's Ethan here, etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Glacier Chains V Bar tire Chains on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. First thing to point out is that the V bar chains are gonna be probably your most aggressive chains. They're gonna have the most bite and the most grip and traction. So if you're somewhere that gets a lot of ice or heavy snow, these are probably the best chains for you to use. These chains are in a ladder pattern. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these Glacier Chain twist link snow tire chains with cam tensioners, on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. So this is gonna be a twist link chain. What that means is that the actual links that go across the tire are gonna be twisted. This is gonna make them a little less of a bumpy ride, compared to a square link or a D link that has hard edges. But that does also mean that this won't bite into deep ice as well, just because it's a bit smoother and less aggressive. more

So like the name suggests these are going to be a square link chain. You can see that really well right here where those links have hard edges as opposed to something like a twist link. How's it going everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our Titan Chain Cable Chains on our 2022 Chevrolet Malibu. These chains are gonna be a roller style of chains which the dealer typically recommends, because they give you the most clearance in the back in the wheel well area. So, as far as that goes, it's what they recommend. But as far as longevity goes and using them over the course of a few seasons, it may not be the best choice. The reason why these chains might not last as many seasons is because it's made of a low carbon steel which isn't nearly as rust or corrosion resistant. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these Knig XB-16 snow tire chains on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. These are gonna be an assisted tensioning chain, which means that the tensioner is built into the chain itself and it doesn't apply a sort of constant tension. It's more of an assisted tension but it does get a really strong fit on the tire of our Tahoe here and it's gonna be a really nice chain too. Let's check it out. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Konig XG12 Pro snow tire chains on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. These are gonna be a self tensioning tire chain which means that they've got the tensioning device built into it and it's going to be applying constant pressure with this elastic band pulling it tight as we go down the road. So if things are to shift on the tire as we're driving, it's going to be pulling on it constantly to ensure a good snug fit. Let's check it out. Pewag Snox Pro Snow Tire Chains Review - 2022 Chevrolet Malibu- Video
How's it going It's Ethan at etrailer here, and today, we have our pewag Snox Pro Self-Tensioning Tire Chains on our 2022 Chevrolet Malibu. These tire chains are a solid entry level choice, they are diamond pattern, which gives you more coverage on the road, and they're a decent choice for inclement weather, including ice and snow. With the diamond pattern, you get more coverage of the tire, so you get a little bit more traction, and you also get less bumpiness compared to a ladder style chain. The links of the chains themselves are square, which is good on the flat side for biting into ice, and the way that they interlink with one another is also good for preventing snow clumping. The chains themselves are made of a manganese nickel alloy, which is gonna protect your chains for multiple seasons from rust and corrosion. The interlinks also have a protective coating that's just gonna protect your fingers when you're putting it on in the ice and cold conditions, so your hands don't get stuck to the actual chains themselves. more

Titan Chain Diamond Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Sonic- Video
Today, we're taking a look at our Titan Chain Diamond Alloy Snow Tire Chains, right here on our 2012 Chevrolet Sonic. I really like how they're easy to install. And, they have that diamond pattern, so pretty much the features of a premium tire chain, without the premium price. If you wanna upgrade, check out the Konig CG9. Those are awesome chains. I did them here on the Sonic, but if you wanna stick with an affordable option just ready for emergency purposes, I would definitely go with this one. more
